About the DS1922L-F5# iButton
The DS1922L-F5# Thermochron is a high-resolution iButton® focused on low-temperature applications. This is a reliable, flexible, and low-cost data logger with excellent battery life. The DS1922L-F5# iButton is excellent for monitoring temperatures in cold-chain, food safety, bioscience, pharmaceutical, and medical applications.
The DS1922L-F5# has a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C with a software-corrected accuracy of ±0.5°C in the range of -10°C to +65°C. It also has a programmable resolution of 0.5°C for 8-bit and 0.0625°C for 11-bit. The 8-bit can read up to 8192 values at a logging rate of 1 second to 273 hours, and the 11-bit can read up to 4096 values at the same logging rate. Information on battery life can be found in the DS1922L-F5# data sheet.
The DS1922L-F5# is calibrated against a NIST traceable source. A NIST traceable certificate for any DS1922L-F5# purchased from iButtonLink is available for download on the Maxim website. A sample certificate can be seen here. Please see the iButton® Data-Logger Calibration and NIST Certificate FAQs for more information.
Calibration
This product comes with a Maxim Integrated certificate rated to 0.5 °C. If you are using our iButtons for an application where you need a more accurate reading around a specific range of points, we suggest adding our 3-Point Accredited Temperature Calibration. When you choose our calibrated iButtons, they will become part of a chain of traceability back to the National Institute of Standards and Technology. What does this mean for you?
- Calibrated to industry-leading .02°C Uncertainty
- Proven accuracy
- Verified equipment quality
- Compliance with medical standards
Thermochron models vary in the operating temperature range, the amount of memory available for storage, and the accuracy of the temperature reading. Please check out the table below for comparisons with other iButton models, as well as our Thermochron and Hygrochron page for more information.
Thermochron and Hygrochron COMPARISON CHART Both measure and datalog temperature in various ranges and accuracy. Hygrochrons measure humidity in addition to temperature. |
