How-To: T-Probe

Easy temperature reading. Simple 1-Wire design. Quick setup. 

The T-Probe is a great product for customers looking to read temperature simply and efficiently. The simple 1-Wire design is run from your computer to a LinkUSB to the T-Probe. Overall the setup can take less than 10 minutes and you'll be reading temperatures around you. 

What you'll need: (1) LinkUSB, (1) T-Probe (of any length), Downloaded 1-Wire Viewer from Maxim (Download Here).

Step 1: Download and Open the Maxim 1-Wire Viewer in order to view the readings from your device. 

Step 2: Insert the LinkUSB into a USB 2.0 port on your computer. (Note that you will need to identify the Comm Port in which the USB device is plugged into.)                  

                                                                 

Step 3: Plug the T-Probe into the Link USB. You will see the device come up under 'Device List' in the view software. 

Step 4: Click the 'Real-Time Temperature' section in the viewer software. From here you'll see real time data on the temperature the T-Probe is reading.
