Our address only iButtons are designed to be used as a serial number device. They contain on-board ROM (Read Only Memory) that safely stores identification serial numbers without fear of the IDs becoming corrupted. iButtons, therefore, can be used as a physical password and username all in one. Different applications include:
- Secure change purse for electronic payment at local transit systems, payphones, parking systems, or vending machines.
- It can also be used in photo ID badges and printed circuit boards
- Link an employee ID to the iButton serial number to view who accessed a secured area
